Still a Walk in the Park in Aeternum Garden

The experience was far different from what we saw all over news the past weekend where there were traffic jams, no parking space, place to buy food you need is too far, missing children, being too crowded and other similar inconveniences challenged the people who visited the cemeteries and columbariums around Metro Manila. I had the chance to visit Aeternum Garden once again and I'm glad I did.

Just like what I've mentioned in my previous article on Aeternum where I watched in amazement for the second time on how beautiful and peaceful the park is but this time there were more people around visiting their departed love onces.

Traffic flow when I went there wasn't really bad at all(afternoon), you will not get hungry nor thirsty if you or your family didn't bring enough food or water because there is a food tent next to the Chapel of Aeternum Park. I also like the way that the tents where setup in and around the Columbarium of Aeternum where the families can stay. And lastly, I like the part that they setup the high definition screen for movie nights which they had from Friday til Sunday.

This visit was really awesome! On all those times I've stayed in it, I didn't feel any weight or sadness in the atmosphere, it still feels like a walk in a park.

RC Jamacan Patties Next to Movies in Market Market

This is a treat for me and my friends when we visited the RC Jamaican Patties just next to the movie theaters in Market Market when we were scheduled to taste the Jamaican Patties that they have. Let me describe the place first, aside from it being a convenient place to hang around when your waiting for your friends or waiting for the view time of the movie that you'd like to see you can also somehow have this small touch of Jamaican colors when you enter the store, I've posted the photo below to give you an idea of the space and how it looks like.

And for the staff, I can say that they're okay and providing good customer service to the clients. I guess you can probably tell from their picture below.

I also got pictures of the Jamaican Patties itself but since they all look the same, I only posted one which is one of my favorite the Beef Granade.

So here are the Patties that we were able to try:

BEEF ROYALE
All-beef ground filling, all-time favorite
BEEF SUPREME
No chili, juicy, ground all-beef filling with tomato sauce gravy
BEEF JERKY
Extra hot, all-beef juicy ground filling with tomato sauce gravy
BEEF GRENADA
Detonates in your mouth & only for the brave, spicy all-beef ground filling, lots of chili
CHICKEN ROYALE
All-chicken ground filling
CHEEZE BURST
Loads of melted cheese with all-beef ground filling, a sure winner!

And here's the menu from the pictures I took.

Can't Skip Skippy’s Bar & Grill in BGC

Skippy’s Bar & Grill is a sports bar and restaurant bringing a piece of Australian goodness in the Philippines. What they offer are scrumptious and filling grubs for every hungry tummy, Aussie or local alike.

What you can find out in this grill is what the owner's say "honest-to-goodness Aussie comfort food" like the imported Aussie Meat Pies (choice of chicken or beef) from Down Under, the famous Aussie burger, Aussie steaks and lamb chops, and fish and chips are fast-becoming house specialties. And rightfully so, because Skippy’s never scrimps on ingredients and serving-size, making it great for hungry foodies or for a group of friends who just would like to have a great time!

Let me give you an idea of the dishes that was served to us when we visited Skippy's

The bar boasts of an excellent selection of Australian beers like Victoria Bitter, and Crown Lager as well as other top-notch imported beers to toast on. Its owners, Sydney-native business man, Steve Bird and his wife Tina, envisioned the place to be a laid-back, no-fuss pub where a mate can grab an ice cold beer, eat brunch until 3PM while cheering for his favorite spSkippy’s Bar & Grill is a sports bar and restaurant bringing a piece of Australian goodness in the Philippines. Go Loco with Comedy Cartel in Relik Tapas Bar & Lounge

Two Reasons to why people visit the corner of 31st and 4th Street in just next to St. Luke's Hospital in Taguig especially if you need that I prefer, "Laughter" of course! the best medicine there is. Letting you forget about everything else whether that be physical or emotional distress.

Lets check out the food being served in this fine Bar. We went then on a night time which was the usual operation hours of that bar, but after knowing more about Relik I found out that they also operate in the mornings as well to cater to the needs of Lunch Diner's in the area.

Take a look at the delicious food that was served in our table, all of it was with a Spanish twist.

"Relik Olla Mia"
-Spicy Chicken Empanada-Garlic Mushroom-Patatas Bravas-Baked Mussels-Friend Curry Chicken Skewers
-Pepper Pizza Rolls

Relik's Nachos, Chorizig

Well that is just few of the good stuff in the menu, and to make it even better we were able to watch the line up rising star stand-up comedians which as well as the professionals.

These guys are not the ordinary bar comedians that we were used to in bars which most of the time uses their audience as the subject for their punchlines. Yes it may be funny but I just prefer "observational point of view" kind of stand-up comedy. First thing is you wont need to be uneasy when your just next to the stage another thing is it is more challenging(for the comedian of course) simply because it is more difficult. Just like what they say..."It is  easier to make a person cry than to make them laugh!"

These are just some of the shots I got from the open mic showdown of the apprentice's and the professionals.

Concluding the weekend night. I had a great time..full tummy with the awesome food and laughter!
