Ducati Weekend 2014
I'm glad I became a part of this Philippine Version of Ducati Weekend. Why? This event is not a regular yearly event thing. This is a special event for not only Ducatistas but all the other riders that share the same passion as what the Ducati Culture is Promoting.
Once again, I get to experience the Ducati Lifestyle that all Ducatista's share, from the riders together with their families and friends they ride hard, play hard and celebrate ever harder. And as I've mentioned in my previous posts that weekend was not only for the riders but for their love ones as well where they enjoyed Bull Ride, Henna Tatoo, Caricature, Photobooth, inflatable playground, and similar activities, they even have Back Massage and Foot Spa! Really a good treat for the whole family.
One of the highlights of it was the Arrival of Carlos Checa the 2011 Superbike World Champion carried by a choper going to the race track interesting enough that soon as he landed he jump on his Ducati Superbike and went straight to the racetrack and that's what you call a grand entrance!
As expected, fans of the Superbike World Champion were all over him soon as he's done with the race track all to get a picture with him and to get his autograph(including me) as you know, this is a once in a lifetime chance.
Later that evening there was a Presscon for Carlos Checa and his team together with Philippine Ducati Lead by Toti Alberto, Marc de Joya and Jay Carrion. Interview on Carlos and his experience as a rider and what he'd like to impart in Filipino Riders Ducati Philippines also imparted The Ducati Scrambler which they will be launching soon , The style is “post-heritage”: to take the best of the past and create something unique and absolutely contemporary. This is Ducati's answer to their clients that would like to have a lifestyle bike that has the Ducati quality. Scrambler Party was next in line and everybody get a good taste of the awesome, crazy and fun filled Saturday night to celebrate the preview of The Ducati Scrambler.
Tiring but a really fulfilling weekend!...the Ducati way!

Super Weekend with Superbikes of ATAT Racing Team!
This will be my first time of seeing a Superbike race in live action and boy I can really say that even if you're not in the race, you can feel the intensity is really super! I tried standing next to the race track and here's how it looks like:
Even if you're just sitting somewhere near the track or on the 3rd floor of the watch pods in Clark International Speedway adrenaline will sure be pumping and will drive you nuts at some point especially if you have someone in the racetrack to cheer for, in my case it will be the ATAT Racing Team for the Superbike category. Why? Well..who wouldn't? Since this is my first time to watch something like this which made me a fan instantly by the way, allow me to show some of the pictures.

Superbike Racing Team "ART" (ATAT Racing Team)
Superbike Racing is known as a foreign sport for the adrenaline junky, with speeds reaching up to 300kph on straights and corners with very sharp turns. In a more technical sense, it is a category of motorcycle racing wherein tuned versions of motorbikes available for sale to the public are used for competitive racing in the tracks.
Not known to many of Filipinos, Philippines actually has a growing and thriving superbike racing community. Races have been hosted regularly in our top racing circuits in Batangas and Clark, Pampanga. Teams have also been formed representing the top motorbike manufacturers such as Aprilia and Ducati. The Philippine Superbike Championship has produced the biggest grid of Superbikes in the Philippine Motor Racing history and will the series will end this weekend at Clark International Speedway October 4 and 5.
One of the teams that have been gaining popularity in the superbike racing scene is the ATAT Racing Team. The ATAT Racing Team "ART" is an affiliate of Any Time All the Time (ATAT) Motorcycle Club. This motorcycle club is the only all-Italian Superbike Club in the Philippines. This highly exclusive, by-invite-only group is comprised of 24 CEOs, business owners, and top executives. The spirit of the group lies in their common passion for motorcycle riding on the road and on the track, and in their advocacy for motorsport safety. ART is composed of 14 active front racers with top of the line superbikes from Aprilia and Ducati.
On October 5, 2014, witness 12 ART racers together with their sponsors, Brickfire, IPM Group of Companies, Fila, Technomarine, Assurant, Foilacar and Megaworld take the grid on Sunday and test their skill against other racers in their respective categories.
To know more about ATAT Racing Team, you may add them in Facebook (www.facebook.com/ATATRacingTeam) or Instagram (ATATRACING), or join them in the next leg of the Philippine Superbike Races at Clark Speedway on October 4 and 5, and get a chance to win a Technomarine watch plus other premium items from Jills Restaurant and Sleepworth Handmade Sleep Essentials.

ATAT Motorcyle Club Turns 12!
ATAT Motorcycle Club (ATAT, as formally registered in the SEC, stands for Any Time All the Time) will have its 1st official long ride for 2014 this weekend( September 26-28, 2014) to Baguio as it commemorates the new set of officers for the year 2014-2015 with President Charlie Carlos Ride. ATAT was founded on friendship in 2002 when three long-time friends Kiko Bernardo, Teddy Lim and Elton Ong decided to get together after realizing their passion for motorbikes. From there, the group of three started to grow and had many impromptu rides —at any given time, at a moment’s notice, with a “drop what you are doing and let’s ride!” kind of attitude. Together with another long time friend Alberto Matias the group decided to name the group ATAT — which, in the vernacular, describes someone all too eager and impatient to do something. Together with Benjie Ladra, Myke Torres, Kevin Chua, and Jimmy Chan pioneers in ATAT, the group started to grow in numbers. Reaching a high of 45 members at its peak. Now on to its 12th year, ATAT Motorcycle Club has established itself as one of the premier motorcycle clubs in the country. At present, the club has 24 members and despite their busy schedules, their friendship has evolved into a deep sense of camaraderie and a brotherhood of passionate riders.
The members consists of : Elton Ong, Benjie Ladra, Abet Matias, Marc de Joya, Charlie Carlos, Raymond Hallare, Vince Mercado, Felix Luakian, Mervin Pullon,Francis Varela, Paolo Vialu, Rei Lagamia, Mayie Capinpin , Oliver Jimeno, JC Villanueva, AJ Maralit, Aaron Macalinao, Jevis Aguila Marketing Manager at Granstar Motors, the local distributor of Aprilia and Lawrence Macalinao “We have been riding for a long time, and unlike other sport-bike riders, ATAT members really push and ride hard. We have made it our advocacy to ride hard on the track, not on the streets, to promote safe riding,” said Marc de Joya, General Manager at Ducati Phils.
Follow their ride schedule and adventures by liking their Facebook as ATAT Racing Team heads on to Clark International Speedway this October 4 & 5 and witness the much awaited 4th leg of the Ducati Cup 2014 and Any Time All the Time Motorcycle Club (ATAT MC)

Fila Partners with ATAT
ATAT Racing Team which is a Ducati Race Club just recently had partnership with one of the biggest European Brand that we have in the country FILA. Although I am not really a big fan of motorbikes I became an instant fan of these guys. Why? because apparently these group of gentlemen carry a very good culture in their group which has fun and adrenaline for speed the Superbike way.
ART(ATAT Racing Team) is the racing division of ATAT(Any Time All The Time) Motorcycle Club Aiming to uplift Philippine Motorsports and promote safe riding start with regular bonding every weekend sharing each others passion on riding, touring not only the Metro and even the popular spots of Luzon Visayas and Mindanao and best part of their story is they watch each others back every time they ride.
Another awesome timing for this event is the Celebration of Her Royalty Ms. Cris Albert CEO of Fila Philippines which made the night even more colorful.

'Exciting' would be my choice of word to describe the party. Why you might say? Well...the raffle of Vodka bottles that originally was 30 to 60 then it ballooned to 120 winners given the fact that cocktails and beer is everywhere and free flowing, another thing is they gave away 10 GC'S of FILA shoes so that's another 10 winners, then 3 winners of Technomarine wristwatches and to 'Whoa' it all...more than P100K worth of Foil a car service was also raffled off courtesy of Mr. Lester Codog - Foil a Car Manager. And good news...I even won...one bottle of Vodka is not bad at all.
These were shots of the winners I got.
This night was of partying with the rest of the Fila Team was Fantastic and I would like to thank the Promotions and Advertising manager for Fila Ms. Cherry Bustamante Burwell for inviting me on this multi-faceted party.
